At Secret Lair, we like to make really great Magic cards. Every now and then, we also like to poke at the parts of the process that seem to rarely change, especially when numbers are involved, and opinions form quickly.

This time, we’re doing both at once. Kathleen Neeley, Roman Klonek, Pedro Oyarbide, and Sophy Hollington bring a woodblock-inspired, storybook take to Lorwyn’s ever-shifting world, adding their own pages to a plane defined by light and shadow. And while they were busy doing that, we were busy asking what happens when pricing doesn’t behave the way it usually does. You’ll notice this drop is available at multiple price points, which is very much on purpose and very much part of what we’re exploring here.
